Both tools — Check My Options and Compare My Offer — run entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter — amounts, rates, payments, fees, revenue and cash estimates — are:

• not sent to our servers or any API
• not sent to any partner
• not stored in a database
• not written to your URL, cookies, or your browser's local storage

Refreshing or closing the page clears what you entered. There is no account, so there is nothing to delete later.

Like any website, CloserToDone is served over the internet. Our hosting infrastructure may process standard request metadata — such as IP address, browser user agent, and requested pages — as part of delivering the site.

CloserToDone uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand whether the tools are useful. It collects page views and a small set of interaction events — for example, that someone started a tool, completed a step, viewed a result, or opened the Methodology page.

Result events record only the kind of outcome — calculated, insufficient information, invalid input, or conflicting numbers — plus non-financial categories (such as funding purpose or timing) and simple yes/no flags such as whether a payment schedule was entered. The numbers you enter and every calculated figure are never sent to analytics: not amounts, not rates, not payments, not fees, not any result. This is enforced in the analytics code itself, which only accepts a fixed list of non-financial fields.

Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies, and we do not build personal profiles from it. Analytics data is not sold.

There is currently no contact form or feedback submission on this site. If one is added later, this page will be updated to describe exactly what is collected and how it's used.

Where CloserToDone links to external sites — such as official government resources — those sites have their own privacy practices, which we don't control.

If how CloserToDone handles information changes, this page changes first. The product's trust commitments only hold while the implementation matches them.
