CloserToDone

Disclosures

The important stuff, up front and in plain language.

Educational information, not advice

CloserToDone provides educational information and arithmetic analysis. Nothing on this site is financial, legal, tax, or accounting advice, and nothing here is an offer of financing.

No approval or preapproval

CloserToDone does not approve, preapprove, or prequalify anyone for financing, and does not predict the likelihood of approval. Only a financing provider can make those decisions.

No guarantees

We do not guarantee rates, terms, savings, eligibility, funding, or funding speed. Actual provider terms may differ from anything calculated here.

Calculations depend on your inputs

Every result is computed from the numbers you enter. If an input is wrong or incomplete, the output will be too. Where a calculation can't be made from what you provided, we say so instead of estimating.

Estimated annualized cost

Where shown, the estimated annualized cost is an analytical annualization computed from the payment schedule you entered. It is not an APR disclosed by a provider. See our Methodology for exactly how it's calculated.

Hypothetical examples

Hypothetical scenarios — such as modeling a smaller amount at the same factor rate — are always labeled as hypotheticals. They are modeling assumptions, not available offers.

Partner compensation

CloserToDone has no partner integrations today. If partner links are added in the future, CloserToDone may receive compensation when a user independently chooses to continue with a partner. Any such relationship will be disclosed next to the link itself, and compensation will never change a calculation. See How We Make Money.

No government or SBA affiliation

CloserToDone is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the U.S. Small Business Administration or any government agency. References to SBA programs are educational unless explicitly stated otherwise.

A note on this page

These disclosures describe what the product actually does today. They were written for CloserToDone and have not been reviewed by legal counsel; they are not a substitute for legal advice about your own situation.
